Between 1865 and 1920, large and populous African American towns and neighborhoods were found and occupied, including Greenwood and Seneca Village. Within the communities, businesses and its economy was thriving. This sadly was disrupted by racial wars and massacres from hate groups. My collection wants to focus on how African-Americans can reset that revenue back into communities like these across the country, also while to connect with our main African ancestry.
